Office holders in civic groups tend to skew older. From what I have seen, that is also true of condo/co-op boards. Back in the days of "housewives," married women who did not work outside the home did a lot of this work. In my opinion, the work day/week should be shortened so people would have more time for public participation. Eric, young people do attend ESSCA meetings.
