As a nearby resident, you certainly have good reason to see it. A few days ago, I heard that there was some activity on a street near Thayer, a "domestic" incident. Domestic incidents can be deadly. If I were a police officer approaching a house with a strong indication of armed suspects, I might want SWAT. There are too many automatic weapons floating around these days. Your post and the comments imply that this was an overly intense response. But it sounds like nobody got hurt. Eric, why don’t you file a request for a police report about that incident? BTW, thanks go to the petty bourgeois neighbor who reported my landlord's zoning violation and had me exiled from Thayer. I am living in a much better place now.
